Serve Him Without Fear — A Daily Benediction
Christ won the victory for you "being delivered out of the hands of our enemies, that ye might serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness all the days of your life" Song of Zacarias
Dear friends,
I want to offer a simple encouragement for your daily walk: take time each morning to pray the Benedictus.
We have included this beautiful canticle in our Book of Common Prayer and Private Devotions, which you may access here:

For those who prefer a physical copy of this “Book of Hours”, including a large print edition available nowhere else, you may also order it here:

God doesn’t want you to live under any bondage, any threat, or any fear under any who hate Him or His people.
Christ won the victory that we have all the spiritual and legal rights to go forward in liberty to worship Him and live your life in accordance with His laws of the true liberty. His commandments are always called liberty, and only deviation from them are called sin and bondage.
Zacarias declared the following words in the Temple declaring the work of Jesus (Yahshua) and of his son, John the Baptist.
He reiterated the several prophecies that Christ would deliver us that we might serve Him without fear, in righteousness and holiness all the days of our lives. That’s God’s will for you, and it takes a little faith and action to be that holy (meaning separate) people.
Such is recited at the morning services across Christendom.
Let this be part of your daily rhythm. Begin the day with the words of the Benedictus, and walk forward in the liberty, holiness, and peace that God has ordained for His people.
In Christ’s service,
Rev Dr Stephen MK Brunswick
