Why publish such a series?
Because many people have been told that repentance is optional, that conversion requires no change of life, or that a person may claim Christ while remaining completely unchanged. Yet when we open the New Testament, we find Christ preaching repentance, the Apostles preaching repentance, and the early Church preparing converts through repentance, baptism, confession of faith, and a new life in Christ.
This study is not primarily directed toward faithful Christians who already understand these things. Rather, it is intended as a resource for those who have never carefully examined what the New Testament actually says about conversion.
A single verse may be dismissed. Two verses may be explained away. But when dozens of passages from Matthew to Revelation teach the same doctrine, the overall testimony becomes difficult to ignore.
The purpose of these studies is simple:
Let Scripture speak for itself.
We encourage you to read, share, discuss, and distribute these resources freely. If you know someone who has been told that repentance, obedience, holiness, or transformation are optional parts of Christianity, these studies may prove helpful.
